I am now utterly convinced of the power of the banana!

|The Burlap Bag| did this amazing, simple recipe for those days you want sweets but don’t want to get out of the house to get the ingredients. This recipe uses only 2 ingredients, both of which most people will have in the house already. Technically it isn’t a ‘leftover’ recipe, but it was just too good not to post.

You will need:

  • 2 Ripe Bananas
  • 1 Cup of Oats (90 grams)
  • Whatever mix-ins you fancy / have in the house

1| Mash the bananas and oats together, and add any mix-ins you crave.
2| Put little spoon-fulls on a baking tray with a baking sheet on it.
3| Bake in hot oven (180 C) for 15 minutes.
4| DEVOUR!

|The Burlap Bag| suggests trying to add:

a handful of chocolate chips
cinnamon
crushed walnuts
raisins

If you try it and make an amazing new discovery, please share your wisdom!
